Scottsdale, AZ - Automotive Dealership Institute CEO and Director of Operations Alan Algan has appointed Robert King as instructor of the automotive management training company’s new Service Advisor course.
Mr. King is charged with creating and implementing ADI’s copyrighted course curriculum, which he will begin teaching in October.
I am pleased to be associated with Bob King, who has an excellent background and reputation in the industry, said Algan of the Northwood University alumnus. His expertise will help solidify ADI’s reputation in this important segment of the industry.
King grew up in the retail automotive business. His family owned and operated a large Ford Lincoln Mercury franchise. He began working at his family’s dealership when he was 15, starting as a lot boy, logging time in the Service and Parts Departments and working in literally every position including new car salesman, F&I manager, sales manager and general manager. He also co-founded a successful rent-a-car company and personally installed and trained personnel in all new franchised locations throughout the United States. King graduated with honors from Northwood University’s Michigan Campus with degrees in Automotive Marketing and Business Administration.
I believe in the Automotive Dealership Institute’s mission, which is to elevate the industry’s standards through education, said King. I am proud to join this prestigious training company and expand its curriculum.
