SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - The Automotive Dealership Institute has released its 2006 3 rd-Quarter F&I Training Menu, specifically designed as a tool for dealerships seeking to improve the skills and knowledge base of their F&I managers. The menu, which is reminiscent of a dealership aftermarket product menu, enables dealership personnel to choose from such critical course material as credit bureau analysis, legal disclosures, finance products, F&I prime and nonprime financing, leasing, the F&I menu-selling process, and sales training. Classes range from one to five days and are scheduled throughout the year.
New to the ADI 3 rd-Quarter Training Menu are regularly scheduled dates for AFIP Certification and the Institute for Ethical Behavior’s Ethics Certification for Automotive Finance Professionals. Both certificates are course requirements for ADI’s comprehensive four-week Automotive Finance Management program.
“By adding ethics and AFIP certification to our training menu, dealers are able to upgrade their F&I staff’s education, and substantially protect themselves against costly litigation,” said Arzu Algan, ADI’s CFO and Dean of Education. “F&I managers who have earned these certificates are a benefit to the dealerships and their customers, and should result in higher customer satisfaction ratings.”
The menu has been well received by dealerships throughout Arizona and the nation.
